The all new 2013 Lifebook from Fujitsu is all about taking innovative ideas to an altogether different dimension. The gadget reaches to a point where all the ideas of other gizmos converge.

Most of us own a digital camera, a tablet, a notebook, and a smartphone, but when the time comes for travel we need to pack all of these gadgets and carry them along with us.

Fujitsu has come up with the concept of Lifebook that includes all the functionalities of these gadgets into it using shared computing technology of all these individual gizmos.



The concept is futuristic in every aspect, but the name “Lifebook” sounds quite lazy and laid back. Probably, the company was way too exhausted after integrating all the technologies in a single package and may be it did not have much creative strength left after that. The laptop uses its own processor to get all these jobs done.

A new business laptop from the house of Asus is B23E. It features a 12.5inch screen and has some top business standard features. Some other features include fingerprint reader, long life 900 charge cycle battery, optional TPM, and anti-shock hard drive.

Some of the other highlights of the Asus laptops are black magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis, spill-resistant keyboard, and Secure delete that allows deleting confidential data permanently from the recycle bin. To top it all, it also offers Intel Anti-Theft technology and USB 3.0.



The value add-ons are just the beginning as the core specifications get even better with 750GB hard disk, Intel second generation Core i3/i5/i7 processor, Intel HD 3000 graphics and up to 8GB DDR3 of memory.

Other features include Bluetooth, 2MP camera, HDMI and WiFi. The starting price of the laptop has been fixed at $922.

Apple Inc recently released its new iBooks 2. The digital textbook has been released with the aim of changing the face of education market in US, which will in turn boost the adoption rate of iPad.

During the unveiling the company also demonstrated few tools to make and use digital textbooks and showed how authors and teachers can create text books for their students.

The book service app was demonstrated for the media and press at the Guggenheim Museum. The new free app features a wide range of interactive textbooks.



Along with releasing the app, Apple also announced a tool called iBook Author with the help of which digital textbooks can be created. Then iTunes U was demonstrated, which happens to be an educational app for teachers and students.

The new gaming desktop Alienware X51 was released recently. The most interesting part about this desktop is that it comes in different sizes.

The versatile 651 is powered by Intel Core i7-2600 (3.4GHz), which offers an outstanding gaming experience to meet all the challenges and imaginations of a gamer.

The graphics card is 1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 555 graphics card and it has 8GB DDR3 memory. The maximum size of the hard disk is 1TB. The desktop also features Blu-ray drive/DVD burner.



Other specifications include 7.1 channel HD audio, 2 USB 3.0, 6 USB2.0, HDML and WLAN.

The overall weight of X51 is 5.49Kgs and the OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. The starting price of the basic Alienware X51 is $699.
