Apple Inc recently released its new iBooks 2. The digital textbook has been released with the aim of changing the face of education market in US, which will in turn boost the adoption rate of iPad.
During the unveiling the company also demonstrated few tools to make and use digital textbooks and showed how authors and teachers can create text books for their students.
The book service app was demonstrated for the media and press at the Guggenheim Museum. The new free app features a wide range of interactive textbooks.

Along with releasing the app, Apple also announced a tool called iBook Author with the help of which digital textbooks can be created. Then iTunes U was demonstrated, which happens to be an educational app for teachers and students.
