The new Nikon Coolpix P510 is to be released for refreshing the company’s 2012 line and it releases as the successor of Nikon Coolpix P500.

This time the zoom increases from 36x to a whopping 42x. The camera looks like strong piece in the superzoom segment.

The working edition of the camera has still not been launched, but from whatever sources say, it certainly looks and sounds very promising.

The chassis of the camera fits in the hands seamlessly, but with battery it might get little heavier. A new screen tilt technology has been included, which can be a great selling point for the camera.

The best part about the camera so far remains its 42x zoom, though not everyone would require zoom to such an extent. The pre-bookings are said to have started and the pricing has been fixed at £399.99.

Disney Mobile with DoCoMo Launches 2 New Androids in Japan

Disney’s mobile is going big guns in Japan and they are quite popular under the brand name of Disney Mobile on DoCoMo. They are releasing two brand new Android phones in next couple of months. These phones will feature some of the exclusive Disney games, wallpapers, and animations.

First one is F-08D, which is a luxury smartphone that comes with Mickey and Minnie Mouse silhouettes, dual cameras, 4.3inch HD LCD display, 1.2Hhz dual core OMAP4430 CPU. The bookings are expected to commence from 17th February, 2012.

The other one is P-05D that comes with a rear camera, dual core 1Ghz CPU, frame thickness of 7.8mm, and 4.3inch OLED screen. The pre-bookings are expected to start sometime in March.

The pricing details and Android versions of these upcoming smartphones have not yet been divulged.

The all new 2013 Lifebook from Fujitsu is all about taking innovative ideas to an altogether different dimension. The gadget reaches to a point where all the ideas of other gizmos converge.

Most of us own a digital camera, a tablet, a notebook, and a smartphone, but when the time comes for travel we need to pack all of these gadgets and carry them along with us.

Fujitsu has come up with the concept of Lifebook that includes all the functionalities of these gadgets into it using shared computing technology of all these individual gizmos.

The concept is futuristic in every aspect, but the name “Lifebook” sounds quite lazy and laid back. Probably, the company was way too exhausted after integrating all the technologies in a single package and may be it did not have much creative strength left after that. Asus B23E Business Laptop Released

A new business laptop from the house of Asus is B23E. It features a 12.5inch screen and has some top business standard features. Some other features include fingerprint reader, long life 900 charge cycle battery, optional TPM, and anti-shock hard drive.

Some of the other highlights of the Asus laptops are black magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis, spill-resistant keyboard, and Secure delete that allows deleting confidential data permanently from the recycle bin. To top it all, it also offers Intel Anti-Theft technology and USB 3.0.

The value add-ons are just the beginning as the core specifications get even better with 750GB hard disk, Intel second generation Core i3/i5/i7 processor, Intel HD 3000 graphics and up to 8GB DDR3 of memory.

Other features include Bluetooth, 2MP camera, HDMI and WiFi. The starting price of the laptop has been fixed at $922.

Apple Unveiled iPad Textbooks

Apple Inc recently released its new iBooks 2. The digital textbook has been released with the aim of changing the face of education market in US, which will in turn boost the adoption rate of iPad.

During the unveiling the company also demonstrated few tools to make and use digital textbooks and showed how authors and teachers can create text books for their students.

The book service app was demonstrated for the media and press at the Guggenheim Museum. The new free app features a wide range of interactive textbooks.

Along with releasing the app, Apple also announced a tool called iBook Author with the help of which digital textbooks can be created. Then iTunes U was demonstrated, which happens to be an educational app for teachers and students.

Finally we see the launch of Verizon enabled super cool 4G capable LG Spectrum and the very affordable Blackberry 9370. These phones will give the options to the Verizon fans to go for a high end Android phone or cough out a good some of cash.

New Chassis for Samsung Series 7 Gaming Laptop

We have already seen the new Series 7 gaming laptops from Samsung, but recently the company planned to roll it out with a newer chassis.

The pictures presented here clearly show us the all new yellow chassis that is sporty, funky and can be very appealing to children and college goers. The new laptop will be available both in 2D and 3D versions.

Coming to the specifications, the laptop is still what is available with the older chassis. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 quad-core and has a big 17.3inches screen of full HD display. It features 16GB DDR3 memory, NVIDIA/ATI graphics, max 2TB hard drive and DVD burner.

The laptop is priced at $2,228 for the 2D version and $2,428 for the 3D edition in Korea; however for US markets the laptops with yellow chassis can be cheaper at around $1,700.

Intel Launches Classmate Laptops

Now, we have a new line of Intel laptops with us as the company has come back with its new Classmate PCs. The 2012 Classmate series include two new laptops from the world’s biggest chip maker.

Both the laptops have a 10.1 inch display and both are powered by a new Intel Atom Cedar Trail processor. The biggest difference between the laptops is that one of them has a simple display, while the other features a multi-touch convertible display.

The rugged enclosure makes sure that the internal components are kept away from being damaged.

Some of the other standard features in the laptops include SD memory slot, HDMI, 0.3 MP to 3 MP web camera and optional 3G or WiMAX connectivity. The OS is either Linux or Windows 7.
